ONEIDA COUNTY -- The Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police are reminding residents to keep their cars locked.

The warning comes as they investigate several car larcenies in the Town of Sangerfield, Town of Paris, and the Village of Waterville in southern Oneida County. The break-ins occurred between November 2nd and November 7th.

Police say the items being stolen include loose change, sunglasses and other personal items. They're warning people to be aware of car alarms going off or on at odd times, and people dressed at night in dark clothes walking in driveways and around homes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Oneida County Sheriff's Office at 315-736-0141 or the New York State Police at 315-736-0121.
