SYRACUSE -- There will be potential for icy conditions in parts of Central New York on Tuesday as temperatures straddle the freezing mark in Syracuse and in areas east, north and northeast of the city.

The winter weather advisory expired at 7 a.m.; however a dense fog advisory is in effect until 1 p.m.

Due to constant salting and treating, road conditions on many main highways will be better than last night but secondary roads and, especially, neighborhood streets, driveways and parking lots where temperatures are at or under the freezing mark will be icy.

We have a mixed bag of weather in the next couple of days.  This will include everything from rain showers to record warmth to localized lake effect snow.  Watch Peter Hall’s seven day forecast above for more details.
