With the presidential inauguration on Tuesday, dozens of Central New Yorkers have arrived in the nations capitol to watch the historic event.

A tour bus sponsored by AAA of Central New York left Camillus early Sunday morning bound for Washington without any empty seats, filled with local residents young and old who want a front row seat to history.

Some people on the bus actually flew to Syracuse this weekend from other states just to get on the bus, because other tours were booked solid.

Itrice Sanders flew in from California to hop on the bus in Camillus headed for D.C. She told Action News that "I think about people like my father who served in the military and loved this country, who didn't live to see this day. I'm here for people like him."

Others on the bus agreed. Student Emma Andy was riding with her mother to the capitol. She said, "I'm excited. Because a lot of kids don't have this opportunity. This is a big thing, a black president is sworn into office. So I'm excited even though there's going to be four million people there."
