Here's an advisory from the New York State Department of Transportation
SYRACUSE (AP) -- The New York State Department of Transportation announced the following lane and ramp closures are scheduled to occur:
Monday, April 27, thru Friday, May 1, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily:
I-690 eastbound will be reduced to one lane from Exit 11 (West Street) to the 81 south ramp to facilitate bridge repair operations.
Tuesday, April 28, thru Friday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily:
I-81 Southbound Mainline: Reduced to two lanes from Park Street to Spencer Street.
I-81 Southbound Ramps: On-ramp from Route 370 and Bear Street will be closed to all traffic.
Detour for Bear Street on-ramp: proceed south on Genant Street to I-81 south.
Detour for Route 370 on-ramp: proceed south to Bear Street to Genant Street, south on Genant Street to I-81 south.
Tuesday, April 28, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
I-81 Northbound Mainline: Reduced to two lanes from Butternut Street to Bear Street.
I-81 Northbound Ramps: On-ramp from Butternut and State Streets will be closed to all traffic.
Detour for Butternut/State Street on-ramps: North on State Street, bear left onto Lodi to Court Street, proceed on Court Street to I-81 north.
The I-81 ramp and lane closures mentioned above are to facilitate the Court and Spencer Street bridge replacement project.
Please note that all intended dates and timetables listed within the text of this advisory are subject to change due to inclement weather conditions and/or logistical issues. If scheduled operations are delayed, they will be rescheduled for the next available opportunity.
