SYRACUSE -- The New York State Department of Transportation has released information about some ramp closings and detours over the next few days for work on replacing the Butternut street Bridge over I-81.
Ramp Closures: I-81 Butternut Bridge Replacement Project, Syracuse
The New York State Department of Transportation has announced that, weather permitting, the following ramp closures have been scheduled for Tuesday, February 8, through Friday, February 12, to facilitate the Butternut Street Bridge over I- 81 replacement project.
Tuesday, February 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
I-81 Northbound Ramp: On-ramp from Pearl Street closed to all traffic
I-81 On- ramp from Pearl Street Detour: Proceed to North Salina Street, right on North Salina to State Street, left on State Street to I-81 north ramp.
Wednesday, February 10, through Friday 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily:
I-81 Southbound Ramp: Exit 20 (Franklin/West Street) off-ramp will be closed to all traffic.
I-81 Exit 20 (Franklin West Street) Detour: Proceed 81 southbound to Exit 19 (Salina/Clinton Streets) Clinton Street exit to Herald Place, right on Herald Place to Franklin Street.
