ITHACA (AP) -- Authorities say the body of a Cornell University student from Florida has been found in Ithaca's Fall Creek Gorge.

Cornell officials say a passer-by saw the body of 18-year-old Bradley Ginsburg of Boca Raton under a bridge spanning the gorge. Two firefighters were lowered about 150 feet from the bridge to retrieve the body after it was spotted Wednesday morning.

College officials say the freshman economics major was last seen early Tuesday morning. His dormitory roommate reported him missing that night and a search began.

Cornell police are investigating the teen's death.
