JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A former Central New York resident is behind bars in Florida this morning, accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his grandparents in Liverpool.
The Florida Times Union reports today that Joshua J. Ferrara, 24, who most recently resided at a Jacksonville area motel offered a friend $10,000 to $15,000 to kill his grandparents.
According to the paper, Ferrara told the friend they were worth more dead than alive. The friend later contacted police.
