SYRACUSE -- As we enjoy the sunshine and relative warmth of late winter, counting down to the official arrival of Spring this Saturday afternoon at 1:32 p.m., you may wondering “Will Syracuse win the Golden Snowball award again this winter?”.
Knowing that this question has many “on edge”, I have checked the very latest total winter snowfall numbers, and so far, Syracuse is again in the lead.
As of March 16th, here are the totals (so far) for this winter.
- Syracuse: 106.1”
- Rochester: 89.6”
- Binghamton: 80.3”
- Buffalo: 74.1”
- Albany: 45.2”
Note the poor Buffalo folks, sitting in fourth place!
