SALINA -- An Onondaga County Sheriff's deputy was injured in a car crash Tuesday evening.

Deputy Joseph Bill was responding to a call when he crashed into another car on Court Street in Salina. The second car was turning left and Bill was trying to pass. Bill did have his lights and sirens on.

It turns out the driver of the second car doesn't have a license. Nancy Grant, 44, was ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation.

Grant and a front seat passenger were taken to the hospital for evaluation. Two backseat passengers were not injured. Bill sustained minor injuries.
