An injured dog is back at the DeWitt Animal Hospital.
Peggy the pit bull had surgery last week, and stayed with the vet for a few days. She had to have surgery to repair broken bones after Syracuse Police say she was thrown from a fourth floor window. The incident happened on June 25th at an apartment building on East Fayette Street.
The animal hospital says everything went fine with Peggy's surgery, and she is doing well. Peggy will have very limited activity for the next few weeks as her broken legs heal.
Ricky Coleman, 20, is facing animal cruelty charges in connection with Peggy's injuries.
