HANCOCK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT -- One of the most famous bombers from World War Two will be over the skies in Syracuse this week. The Liberty Belle, a restored B-17 bomber, was at Hancock Airport Monday.

The plane is one of only 14 B-17's which still fly today. Often called "the Flying Fortress" because of its heavy armament, B-17's served in every major theater operation in World War Two.

The Liberty Foundation will be offering flights to the public Sunday, July 25.

CNYCentral Reporter Brandon Roth took a media flight Monday. Watch for his report on air and online tonight.
