In case you haven’t heard by now, the first annual Canine Carnival will take place at the Wegmans Good Dog Park in Liverpool this Saturday August 7th from 10am – 2pm.
ADMISSION IS FREE! Be sure to bring your pets, but have them on a leash. It’s also the 10th anniversary of the Good Dog Park, so another reason to celebrate!
We expect a huge crowd to take in the festivities, especially given the number of animal lovers across CNY and the bright, sunny skies.
Given this, here are a few points to remember, if you plan on attending, that would make your experience and the whole event a terrific time..
PARKING: You may park almost anywhere within Longbranch Park, even down into the Willow Bay lot as the County will have both trams running continuously from all lots up to the Good Dog Park, available for both people and pets!
BRING A LEASH: As with any visit to the Wegmans Good Dog Park, please keep your dog on a leash at all times (except within the confined big and small dog running around pens).
POOP BAGS: There will be plenty on hand, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring your own.
GAMES FOR THE KIDS: We will have plenty of kids activities including a blow up bounce house and giant blow up obstacle course. The bounce house and obstacle course do have limits on the number of people it can safely hold. Please be careful and pay attention to our volunteer safety folks at each venue.

So be sure to bring your pets, check out Wegmans Good Dog Park, play some games, have some great food, maybe win some prizes and say hi to the pets for adoption. Our plan is for this to be the first of what will become an annual event. Yes, the BIGGEST animal welfare event in central New York! Hope to see you there.
