PORT BYRON -- A Cayuga County man was arrested Tuesday after police say he threatened a pair of repo men.

State Police in Auburn tell CNY Central that 50-year-old Keith R. Blowers of Carner Road in Port Byron has been charged with second degree menacing and unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly threatening two men who were trying to repossess his car.

According to the Syracuse Post-Standard, Blowers did not realize that the men were repossessors, and threatened them with a baseball bat. He eventually relented when he found out who they were.

Blowers was issued an appearance ticket for Montezuma Town Court on August 18.
