SYRACUSE -- Thunderstorms that passed through the Syracuse area earlier this morning resulted in several calls to the Onondaga 911 center for downed power lines.

As of 11:10am, National Grid reports on its website that 86 customers in Onondaga County are still without power and 208 customers in Oneida County are in the dark.

The utility's website estimates the power should be back on within the next few hours.

You can check for power outages in your area, or report one at National Grid's web site.

Here is meteorologist Matt Stevens' forecast:

Early strong to severe thunderstorms and breezy with plenty of humidity. Then clearing skies starting by midday as a cold front works through. Breezy and noticeably drier by later this afternoon.
