A power outage in DeWitt is causing problems for drivers.

The Onondaga County 911 Center says the outage covers roughly from Lyndon Corners to Towne Center. Traffic lights along East Genesee Street and Highbridge Road in that area are not working. This includes the Lyndon Corners intersection.

Drivers are advised to be careful going through intersections, and follow all traffic laws.

National Grid is aware of the problem and is working on fixing it. According to the company's website, about 2,100 customers are without power right now. The outage started shortly after 2:30pm. Power should be back on at about 6pm, but that estimation could change.
