Help if you've lost a loved ones
Getting through the holidays is stressful for many, but it can be a sad and depressing time for people who've lost a loved one.
Kim Bermel, with Hope for Bereaved, says the traditions associated with the holiday season---and knowing special people won't be there to share--make it harder.
Hope suggests alternatives, including breaking traditions or establishing new ones, only doing what you really want, and leaving options (If you go to a party, park where you're not boxed in so you can leave if you need to).
There are handouts for help, as well as counseling. Besides the website, you can call 475-HOPE
