EAST SYRACUSE -- Several dozen people will soon be out of a job locally.
Empire Vision Centers, Inc. Distribution Center recently filed paperwork with the state labor department, announcing it will shut its doors this spring.
On March 18, the facility on Fly Road in East Syracuse will close and 39 people will hit the unemployment line.
The filing lists economic reasons for the closing.
