LIVERPOOL -- After spending just a few minutes with Kenzie, Kenson and Kenley Rumo -- you'd think they were born in Syracuse.
The three brothers have adjusted quite well since coming to Central New York ten months ago from Haiti. And if anything is clear -- they love the snow.
"I like snowballs," said 5-year-old Kenson. "Because I can throw them at people."
Getting the boys to the states has been a three year process. They barely made it out of Haiti in February after the massive earthquake there. And after living here for ten months, the boys' adoption papers finally went through just before Christmas-- cause for celebration Monday night.
"It was the best Christmas gift," said the boys' mother Julie Rumo.
The boys continue to impress their parents -- something they've done since day one. Their parents say the boys tested out of English classes within months of coming to the US after not learning the language in Haiti.
"They're just great -- they want to experience everything...they don't hold back," said Julie Rumo. "They're very affectionate, which is very odd for newly adopted children. We just got blessed with three kids that are amazing."
'They're just extremely intelligent, all three in their own way," said the boys' father Paul Rumo. "One's an engineer, one's an athlete...and one's just extremely artistic."
Paul and Julie say they look forward to watching the boys grow in the new year. The only thing left to do, Paul says, is get the boys their citizenship papers. He says they'll worry about that over the next couple of years.
