New York Lottery officials say strong sales across all participating Mega Millions states and the District of Columbia have created the recent jackpot spike.
In fact, New York Mega Millions sales have totaled more than $80 million since the roll up for this jackpot started on September 21st, generating $28 million for education.
The $330,000,000 prize marks the 5th time in New York Mega Millions history that the jackpot has reached the $300,000,000 mark. Other jackpots of $300,000,000 or more include:
