Police accuse Fulton man of raping teenage girl

FULTON -- A 51-year-old Oswego County man is under arrest after police say he raped a teenage girl.

According to the Fulton Police Department, officers arrested Matthew J. Parker of S. Third Street in Fulton on Friday after an investigation revealed that he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old female multiple times in 2007 and 2008. Parker has been charged with five counts of felony second degree rape and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Parker was arraigned in Fulton City Court and remanded to Oswego County jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to Fulton City Court on Wednesday.
