SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating a possible stabbing that occurred about 4:20 PM Tuesday at the intersection of South State St. at East Borden Ave. Safari Jennings, 17, of Syracuse, told police she was walking with a friend when a car pulled alongside them and stopped. According to Jennings, two black females who appeared to be in their late twenties exited the vehicle and begin fighting with the victim. The suspects then got back in the vehicle and fled the area.
It was not until later, the victim realized she had possibly been stabbed during the altercation. Jennings received a puncture wound to her thigh and another to her arm during the altercation, and was later transported to Upstate Hospital where the injuries were determined to be non life threatening.
