MATTYDALE -- HazMat crews were called to the scene of a truck accident late Wednesday morning.

According to Onondaga County 911, a dump truck and tractor-trailer were involved in a crash at the intersection of Factory Avenue and Lemoyne Avenue around 11:11 a.m.

Officials say one of the trucks was leaking diesel fuel from a 100 gallon tank, and the road is near a creek which empties into Onondaga Lake.

A hazardous materials team was called in to clean up the fuel spill and prevent any leakage into the water.

No one was injured in the incident.
