A landmark home in Georgetown could have a new life, as a spiritual retreat and healing center.
The Spirit House, with unusual architecture both outside and in, was used to 'communicate' with spirits when it was built in 1868, but it's been vacant and falling into disrepair. Now a group called the Spirit House Society wants to buy the building and restore both the home and grounds. Madis Senner heads the group and is holding information meetings around the area.
The next meeting is Thursday (March 3rd) at the Oneida Library at 6pm.
