Part of Rt. 370 in Liverpool closed for hours

LIVERPOOL -- One block of a busy road will be closed for several hours.

The state Department of Transportation says Route 370 in Liverpool is closed in both directions between Sycamore Street and Balsam Street. The closure should last until about 8pm. Drivers should follow the detour.

The DOT says there was a utility pole fire in the area.
