LAKELAND -- We have a traffic advisory for those of you who travel in the Lakeland area. Starting tomorrow, the Route 695 southbound on-ramp from State Fair Boulevard in Lakeland will be closed to traffic for several months.
Crews will be doing bridge repair work from Wednesday, March 16th at 7 a.m. until Thursday, June 30th at 4 p.m.
This is the suggested detour from the State DOT: Enter I-690 west at State Fair Blvd, proceed west to Exit 5 (State Fair Boulevard/ Van Vleck Road) to I-690 east, then proceed east to Exit 6 (Rte 695 south).
