SYRACUSE -- A local business school program is being singled out as one of the best programs in the country.
The graduate business program in entrepreneurship in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked as one of the top 15 best specialty graduate business programs nationwide in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools, 2012 Edition."
This is the first time that U.S. News has ranked Whitman's graduate entrepreneurship program. The school's Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises is ranked 14th nationwide.
"The Whitman School is honored that the graduate business program in entrepreneurship is ranked among the top 15 programs in the nation," says Melvin T. Stith, dean of the Whitman School. "This distinctive recognition by U.S. News is a tremendous acknowledgment of the high-quality education and cornerstone experiences the Whitman School offers our graduate students."
The U.S. News & World Report graduate business program rankings are based on a survey of business school deans and MBA program directors.
