UTICA, ONEIDA CO. -- A Herkimer County woman faces charges after police say she gave an officer a false name during a drug arrest earlier this week.

According to Utica Police, on Wednesday officer Michael Petrie arrested 42-year-old Lois Kusky of East Clark Street in Ilion possession of crack cocaine and traffic violations. During the arrest, the officer alleges that Kusky gave him someone else’s name instead of her own.

Kusky is charged with misdemeanor criminal impersonation, felony and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle (driving with a suspended license), and improper signal.

Police say that these charges are allegations and the suspect is innocent until proven guilty in court.
