UTICA -- A Utica woman was arrested twice in two days for two very different crimes, prostitution and stealing shrimp.

Early this morning, Danielle Giruzzi, 27, of Van Roen Road, was arrested for engaging in prostitution. She was arrested around 2:30 a.m. by members of Utica's Special Operations Unit.

The arrest comes just one day after she was charged with shoplifting shrimp. Police say it happened around 7 p.m. March 15th at the Price Chopper on Genesee Street in South Utica.

Police say Giruzzi loaded up a shopping cart full of shrimp and left the store without paying for it.

Police used surveillance photographs to identify her. She is charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
