POMPEY -- State police have identified the victim in a one car fatal accident in the Town of Pompey.
Troopers say 63-year-old Allen Smith, 3791 Cody Road, Cazenovia was traveling on State Route 20 around 6:30 p.m. last night when his car went off the road and struck a utility pole. The accident happened between Berry Road and Seabury Drive.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. No word yet on what may have caused the accident.
