UTICA -- A Utica woman walks into her bedroom and finds a man stealing her purse.
Around 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to a burglary at a home along the 1000 block of Wager Street.
Police say a woman heard a noise coming from her bedroom. They says he saw Brandon Woods, 18, of Park Avenue, leaving the bedroom window with her purse. Police say Woods is friends with the woman's boyfriend.
Woods is charged with burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny. He was sent to the city lockup pending his arraignment in Utica City Court.
