Theft of $3.19 bottle of steak sauce in Romulus leads to drug charges

ROMULUS, SENECA CO. -- A Waterloo teenager, accused of stealing a bottle of steak sauce, is now facing drug charges.

Seneca County Sheriff's deputies say 17-year-old Thomas Villa IV, of 103 E. Elizabeth Street, stole a bottle of steak sauce valued at $3.19 from a Town of Romulus business.

Investigators say they later found Villa to be in possession of marijuana, a scale used to weigh marijuana, a marijuana pipe along with numerous little baggies.

Villa is charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in the Town of Romulus Court where he was released without bail. He is scheduled to be back in court on April 22nd.
