LIVERPOOL -- The Liverpool Central School District is giving people a chance to speak out on a school improvement project.

The $32.8 million plan calls for infrastructure improvements on several buildings. The work would be done on Willow Field, Elmcrest, and Chestnut Hill Elementary Schools, the Morgan Road and Soule Road Complexes, Chestnut Hill Middle School, Liverpool High School, and the Educational Communication Center. The district says there are no plans for any remodeling, just addressing the most urgent physical needs of the buildings, like roofing, paving, and boiler systems.

The project would be paid for by capital reserve funds and state aid. There would be no tax increase.

Tonight's public hearing starts at seven o'clock at the district offices.

The vote will be held on April 27th. The polls will be open from 6am to 9pm.
