Need to get rid of personal documents, but don't want to throw them away or recycle, for fear of identity theft?
The fifth annual Community Shred Day is coming up, next Saturday.
Ashley Grau, with Alliance Bank, says each person can bring several big boxes of documents---like credit card and ATM statements, junk mail and anything with identifying information--at five different locations around the area. The contents will be shredded to make information unuseable.

Shred Day is Saturday, May 14th, 9am to noon.  It is free, at these Alliance Bank locations:
>Camillus;  West Genesee & Kasson Rd.
>Cortland:   1125 Groton Ave.
>Manlius:     Rte 92 & Enders Road
>North Syr:  700 North Main St.
Oneida:        Rtes 5 & 46
