Teens arrested for throwing fireworks out of car on Thruway

SYRACUSE --

Two Solvay teenagers are accused of throwing fireworks out of a vehicle on the Thruway.

19-year-old Kyle Freeman and 19-year-old Shawn Becker, both of 2327 Milton Avenue, were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of fireworks. Freeman is also facing vehicle and traffic charges.

A 17-year-old, who was also in the car, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

All three are scheduled to appear in DeWitt Town Court on Wednesday.
