Teens accused of stealing scrap metal from Frankfort CSX railroad tracks

FRANKFORT -- Two teenagers are accused of stealing scrap metal in the Town of Frankfort.

State police arrested 19-year-old Pavel Naumovich, of 109 Alyssa Circle in Schuyler, and 19-year-old Codey Kistner, of 820 Warren Street in Utica.

Police say they were loading railroad spikes and other pieces of metal from the CSX railroad tracks into their vehicle, which they had parked adjacent to the tracks on CSX property.

Both men are charged with petit larceny and criminal trespass, both misdemeanors.

Naumovich is also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, another misdemeanor.

The two are due back in the Town of Frankfort Court on June 21st.
