Tractor rolled 30 feet

An 88-year-old man in Cayuga County is dead after sheriff's say the farm tractor he was driving rolled over into a ditch.

It happened around 2pm on Old Salt Road in the Town of Niles.

Sheriff's say a neighbor driving on Old Salt Road discovered the Farmall Tractor in a ditch. Sheriff's say August Komoroski had been mowing with a sickle-bar mower around his farm when the tractor went over a bank. It then rolled 30 feet into the ditch.

Komoroski was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cayuga County Sheriff's are continuing their investigation.
