Starting Wednesday, you can get your tickets to this summer's New York State Fair for a cheaper price.
The advanced sale admission tickets will cost you $6 instead of the $10 you would pay at the gate. You can also get the new Strates Shows Midway FunCard for $14. It gives you $24 worth of ride tickets.
Advanced sale admission and ride tickets will go on sale at the Fair Box Office and hundreds of other outlets throughout New York State starting Wednesday, July 13th. The box office is open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. These advanced sale tickets will be available through August 24th, the day before the 2011 Fair opens. Admission for children age 12 and younger is free.
"Our biggest goal is to make sure that families can come to the Fair and enjoy big name entertainment at Chevy Court, petting zoos, a nationally renowned circus and so much more for the just cost of admission," said Dan O'Hara, New York State Fair director.
