SALINA -- If you have some old household chemicals sitting around the basement or garage that you don't use or need any more, you can get rid of them at Onondaga County's Household Hazardous Waste Day.

The event is Saturday, July 16 at the Ley Creek Transfer Station off of 7th North Street in the Town of Salina.

Onondaga County's Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) reports it still has slots available for those who want to drop off the household hazardous waste, but if you want to participate in tomorrow's event you can't just show up. You must make a reservation online today.

Here's a link with more details about what can be dropped off and how you can make a reservation.
