HASTINGS, OSWEGO CO. -- An Oswego County man was arrested this week, and accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a child.
According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday afternoon deputies arrested 68-year-old Gary Francis Floss of Route 11 in Central Square on charges of felony first degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. Police accuse Floss of having sexual contact with a child under the age of seventeen multiple times from April through June of this year. The alleged incidents took place at a home in the Town of Hastings.
Floss was arraigned in Hastings Town Court and released after posting $1,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to return to court on August 17. Do you think this is a fair bail amount for the charges levied against Floss?
