PORT BYRON -- A Clyde woman is accused of spitting on an employee at a rest stop in the Thruway.

State Police say 40-year-old Joanne Salerno, of 85 Sodus St., spit in the face of an employee manning the drive-thru window at McDonald's in the Port Byron Service Area of the Thruway.

Salerno is charged with harassment. She was released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Mentz Court on August 29th.
