New information is being released about the suspect in a murder-for-hire plot in DeWitt.

39-year-old Marnie Nappi is accused of trying to hire someone to kill a man. Police say Nappi wanted the man dead so she wanted to further her relationship with his wife. The man was not hurt and Nappi is being held in jail without bail.

Syracuse police have confirmed that Nappi is the daughter of Michael Nappi. He was killed on South West Street in Syracuse in 1991. Police say that case remains unsolved.
