POTTER, YATES CO. -- A Penn Yan man is under arrest after police say he had sexual contact with a child.
According to State Police, on Wednesday Troopers arrested 46-year-old Mark P. Tette of Swamp Road in Penn Yan on a charge of felony second degree sexual conduct against a child. Police accuse Tette of having sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 in the Town of Potter between December 2010 and February 2011.
Tette was arraigned in Town of Potter Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
