CLAY, ONONDAGA -- A section of Route 31 in Clay is closed --but businesses along the busy shopping corridor will remain open.
C-S-X is making repairs to a railroad crossing near Soule Road, and about two hundred feet around the railroad tracks will be closed. until seven Sunday evening.
Sheriff's deputies are on hand, directing traffic to the detours on Soule Road or Old Route 57.

The road closure should end at 7:00pm Sunday.
