LAKE PLACID (AP) -- It's too warm to sled in the Adirondacks.

State Olympic Regional Development Authority officials say the warm weather forced them to postpone the planned opening on Monday of the combined bobsled, luge and skeleton track at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.

Temperatures at Lake Placid on Monday were expected to climb above 70 degrees.

No new date has been set yet for the track opening.
