OSWEGO -- More warning signs will be going up on public property along the Oswego River.
Tuesday night, Oswego city lawmakers agreed to allow Brookfield Renewable Energy to put up more signs warning fisherman about the dangers of rising water from the hydro electric power plant.
Last year, rushing water swept several fisherman down river. Two of them died. Since then, there has been a push to warn fishermen of the dangers, and get them to wear life preservers.
