SYRACUSE -- Join CNY Central in making a difference this October.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CNY Central will donate $1 to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Fund of Central New York for each CNY Central deal bought through the end of October.
The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Fund supports researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
Carol Baldwin was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1990 and with determination, overcame the disease. Ever since, her goal has been to help other women fight the disease by searching for a cure.
The research supported by the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Fund includes studies of genetic, environmental, and cellular factors of breast cancer as well increasing public awareness of prevention, applying knowledge gained to educate medical professionals, and studying of the outcome of detection and treatment on patients.
