51 High School Bands competing

The Championship Show for the New York State Field Band Conference started at 8am, and will run til 10pm.
51 bands---more than 5,000 band members---are competing in six divisions. The event attracts about 10,000 spectators
($15 for adults, $5 for 5 - 12, $2 for under 5) and traffic around the Dome is heavy as groups come and go through the day.
In addition to the competitions, there are guest performances by the University at Buffalo Marching Band (4:36pm) and Syracuse University's Marching Band (9:34pm)
