SU's Judicial Board decision may not be enough
Marcus Sales has had an interim suspension lifted by Syracuse University, but the chances he'll return to the football team this season are reportedly slim. Sales lawyer Michael Vavonese told the Post-Standard that SU's Judicial Board lifted the interim suspension last Friday, but that only allows Sales to return to classes at Syracuse University. There are still other complaints that need to be addressed, but those may not be cleared up until the end of this month. SU Football's final regular season game is December 3rd against Pittsburgh.
A grand jury recently dropped Sales' felony drug charges stemming from a July 29th incident where he was arrested with his brother Michael Sales Jr. Marcus Sales was also charged that night with running a red light, open container and possession of marijuana.
