FULTON, OSWEGO CO. -- A Fulton woman is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from her employer.

41-year-old Tammy Dishaw, of Meadowbrook Circle, is charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records, both felonies. It stems from a lengthy investigation by Fulton police.

Police say Dishaw stole approximately $9,185.05 while working for her employer, Dr. Karl Hafner's Medical Office. It allegedly happened from September 2009 to June 2011.

Dishaw is also accused of altering medical records and creating false health insurance payments entries in order to conceal her illegal activity.

She was arraigned in Fulton City Court and released on her own recognizance.
