ABURN, CAYUGA CO. -- A Tiffany & Co. ewer and other items are missing from SS. Peter & John Episcopal Church in Auburn.

The Auburn Police Department, is investigating the theft of a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver ewer, wooden carrying box, and tea set including two sugar bowls, two creamers, a bowl, and two small trays.

The items were allegedly taken from SS. Peter & John Episcopal Church in Auburn between April and November of 2011.

On the side of the Ewer is an inscription, which reads, “St. Peter Church

Auburn, NY., in token of their grateful appreciation for His pastoral care, during twentyfive years. All Saints’ Day. 1863-1888.”

The Ewer should have a Tiffany & Co. stamp on its base.

The Auburn Police Department requests that anyone with information about the missing items contact lead investigator Detective Bryant Bergenstock or the Detective Bureau at 315-258-9880 or bbergenstock@auburnpolice.net.
